Third Youth Service

Starting Sunday, September 5th, we will be adding a third youth service for the Middle School. In addition to the 9:00am and 10:15am services, we will also have a service available for the Middle School students during the 11:30am service in the Middle School room (Room 4).

Awakening Fest

We will be going to Awakening Fest on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th at Morven Park in Leesburg. The cost is $30.00 (or $17.00 for one day) and tickets can be purchased at the Awakening Fest table located in the Fellowship Hall. The gates open on Friday at 4:30pm and the last concert ends at 10:45pm. The gates open at 10:00am on Saturday with the last concert ending at 10:45pm. Please be aware that this is not a chaperoned event. Parents will be responsible for dropping off and picking up at the event. Students will be on their own but Cornerstone will provide a shade tent as a meeting place for fellowship and drinks.

There are 30 spots available to volunteer and it will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. There are 15 available spots on Saturday from 8:00-11:00am (if you volunteer for this time slot, you will receive free admission on Friday). There are another 15 spots available on Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm (if you volunteer for this time slot, you will receive free admission on Saturday). You can sign up to volunteer in the Middle School room (Room 4).

Summer Camp 2010 was a huge success! Over 250 teens gathered at NorthBay Adventure Camp on the Maryland shore for a week of fun and time with the Lord. Great memories were made and lives were changed for Christ!

WHAT:
Join us for a time of fellowship, worship, and study through God's Word! The last Wednesday of each month we have a game night, and once a month we have a fellowship activity such as mini-golf, bowling, or roller skating.

WHY:
It is our desire that the middle school youth group, affectionately called "The Eagle's Nest," is a place where today's middle schoolers can find a place of refuge and renewing in relation to God. We want them to know Christ, and in turn make Him known to their generation. Lastly, we hope for life-long friendships to be cultivated as a result of righteous living.
