Patti Broderick - Counselor on Staff

Patti and her husband, Terry, have been worshipping at Cornerstone since the summer of 1999. Patti has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Air Force Academy and a Masters of Education in Counseling from Boston University. She is currently working toward her Doctorate in Counseling at Liberty University and is gathering hours for licensure. In addition to lay counseling, Patti has been a counselor at various pregnancy centers, has counseled Air Force families and recently counseled veterans in an inpatient substance abuse treatment center. Patti came to Christ in 1982 and considers her walk with Him her greatest passion. For her, counseling is an opportunity to help others find the beauty of God's love and stand on His truth in their own lives. Patti is the author of the book, He Said, "Press": Hearing God Through Grief. Widowed in 1995, Patti was a single mother of three children, Bryan, David and Christi McCarthy until marrying Terry (a widower) in 1999. Terry brought two more children to the family, Tiffani and Chris Broderick.
