Andy has been on staff with Cornerstone Chapel since the spring of 1999. As a close friend to Pastor Gary for over 20 years, Andy serves as an advisor to Gary and gives behind-the-scenes support and leadership to various ministries and staff. Andy is responsible for assessing church impact and growth issues relating to church facility expansion, personnel needs, communication, and ministry development. He also provides counseling to the congregation and has supervision of the counseling ministry.

Andy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia and a Certified Mediator. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University (where he met his wife, Darla) and his Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Andy became a Christian at age five and grew up in Loudoun County going to church with his family.

At the age of seventeen, at youth camp, he knew that God was calling him to serve Him in full-time Christian ministry. As a pastor and counselor, Andy has the opportunity to pray with, encourage, teach, and support those seeking to know God in the midst of their circumstances. However, his highest calling is as a husband and father of two. Andy and Darla have been married since 1994 and have been blessed with a daughter, Kendra (1998) and a son, Logan (2003).
